Alfred Kwame Asiedu Walker is a Ghanaian business man and politician who is noted for championing the redevelopment, expansion and beautification of the Accra-Tema motorway, the longest motorway in Ghana.[1] In 2016, he contested the Presidential race as independent Presidential candidate in Ghana and was tipped by the youth to win the Presidency.[2] The Youth Wing of the United 1 Ghana, an advocacy for improved policy formulation in 2016 threw its weight behind Alfred, in a nationwide tour to lobby for him to win the elections. Early Life[edit]
Kwame was born in Lateh in the Eastern Region of Ghana on December, 24, 1955 to Nana Kwame Okanta, King of Lateh-Akuapim and Beatrice Amma Adobea Quashie.[4] He is youngest son of nine children.[5]
