AliSQL is an open-source relational database management system (RDBMS) created as a software branch of the production-ready community releases of MySQL.

It is being actively developed by engineers from Alibaba Group and also includes patches from Percona, WebScaleSQL, and MariaDB. AliSQL has control and performance enhancements, and can be used as a free, fully compatible, enhanced and open source drop-in replacement for MySQL.[1] AliSQL also provides patches, bug fixes and enhancements to MariaDB, including optimizations, multi-source replication and performance metrics.[2]

    Availability[edit]

AliSQL is distributed in a source-code-only form, with no official binaries available. The source code is hosted on GitHub and available under version 2 of the GNU General Public License (GPL v2).[3]
