Ali Lopez Sohaili

Actor Ali Lopez Sohaili was born in Los Angeles, California. His father is of Iranian descent and his mother is of Mexican descent. He went to California State University Long Beach and graduated with honors in Performing Arts and Directing. He won the Raul Julia Award in 2010 and holds an MFA from Juilliard. He’s a member of the Group 42 class at the Juilliard School. He was most recently on the hit TV show Manifest, playing the character of Eagan Tehrani. He was a recurring guest star for seasons 3, which aired on NBC, and 4, which was released on Netflix.

He’s worked in prominent theaters regionally and in New York City. His credits include: “Power Strip” at LCT3 Lincoln Center, “Disgraced” at the Alliance Theater in Atlanta, Georgia, “Disclaimer” at the Public Theater in New York City, and “References to Salvador Dali Make me Hot” at MOLA (Museum of Latin American Art).

He was nominated for the Suzi Bass Award for the role of Abe in “Disclaimer.”

He made guest appearances in Law and Order: SVU season 18 episode 21 and in The Blacklist: Redemption season 1 episode 2.
