Aliatta Japan K.K.[1], commonly referred to as Aliatta Group is a privately owned corporation, based in Tokyo. It is one of the global, middle sized companies operating in coffee related industries with ¥91.2b in annual revenues. The company is headquartered in Shinagawa, Tokyo, Japan, with its offices in Singapore, China, production plants in Italy, China and Japan. A new office coffee roast plant should be opened in USA in 2024.

Aliatta Group was officially formed as Aliatta Pte. Ltd. in Singapore in October 2016. In October 2020 the Aliatta Japan K.K. has been incorporated in Japan and the company's headquarters was relocated to Tokyo. Since 2016 and mainly during the Covid pandemics (2020 - 2022), the group acquired several small coffee shops in SE Asia and heavily invested in coffee related industries. In 2021 acquired technological brand Croos and invested into Merlinbird, the tea factory in China.
Major investments[edit]
In 2016, Aliatta Group took over the license for the Café Le'Doux and launched its investment process in coffee industries, including production of coffee and retail.
In 2020, the group acquired technological manufacturer Croos and started production of both, professional and home use coffee machines and barista equipment.
In 2021, the group invested into Merlinbird, a tea factory based in China a started retail sale of tea products.
In 2022, the group announced more than ¥5.8 billion investment into the entire production value chain – from research and development (R&D) to manufacturing to state-of-the art products and technologies in Japan and USA between 2022 and 2024. Most of the investments will be pumped into roast plants and extension of the Café Le'Doux coffee chain.
In 2023, the group plans to launch two new business offices in the USA and in Australia.
