Chang was born and grew up in Jerantut, Pahang, Malaysia.
Career
Chang studied under art tutor John W. Skelcher in Italy and further refined her skills with art historian Professor Yves Larches in Italy and the United States. Her training is evident in her diverse portfolio, which includes mosaics, pottery, and fine art. Chang's works are exhibited at Lai Lai Art situated in Ampang, Selangor. The Gallery doubles up as her studio space where works are displayed. The Gallery-Studio Lai Lai Art is synonymous with her brand name.
