Alicia Zubikowski is an American director, producer and writer[1]. She is a nine-time Emmy Award winning producer and director –most notably working on Showtime's All Access series, HBO’s acclaimed Hard Knocks[2] and 24/7 shows, NBC’s Winter Olympic Special NHL Revealed from Sochi and the NHL’s Road To Winter Classic and Stadium Series on Epix. In 2018, Alicia led a team in partnership with Shots Studios to produce Vai Anitta, a six-part Netflix series on Brazilian entertainer Anitta, the show trended number one around the globe and number three in the United States upon release.

Her most recent directorial film work includes the documentary YouTube Originals series The Secret Life of Lele Pons (2020)[3]. The first episode premiered May 18, 2020 and was trending #1 globally.

After spending 8 years working at NFL Films, Alicia branched out into the production world, starting a female owned and operated production company Lobas Productions in honor of her late mentor and the Founder/President of NFL Films, Steve Sabol.

Earning 21 Emmy nominations during her career,  Alicia has distinguished herself as one of the most respected and successful females in the sports and entertainment documentary industry. She studied journalism and broadcasting with a concentration in Sports Management at Seton Hall University and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2005.  As a freelance journalist, Alicia worked as a writer and contributor for The New York Times and Sports Illustrated from 2003-2008 (links to articles from NYT-)
