Alif Oil Distributor Trading Company Sdn.Bhd is a palm oil company from Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor in Malaysia. It is part of Sime Darby.[1] It manufactures palm oil, nut oil and seed oil.[2] Alif Agro-Industrial, Inc., Malaysia intends to put up a palm tree cultivation and oil refinery in Mindanao that could be worth US$1 billion.[3]

Alif Oil currently has oil palm plantations in Palawan, Agusan del Norte, and Cotabato.[4] Possibly Alif Oil has the aim of founding a 10,000-hectare oil palm plantation in Malungon, Sarangani.[5] It is the largest foreign investment in the local agricultural sector to date with a planned palm plantation and oil refinery project in Mindanao. [6] According to Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) director general Charito Plaza, the use of ancestral domain areas in Agusan del Surand is also good for indigenous people.[7] Rainforest-rescue.org suggests deforestation by Alif Oil. [8] Alif Oil and Petrochemicals Co. Ltd is active in Nigerian Lagos State. [9]
