Aligarh Muslim University Students' Union
Aligarh Muslim University Students' Union was previously known as Siddons Union Club. It was inaugurated under the president ship of Theodore Beck. Khwaja Sajjad Husain was declared Vice President and Syed Mohammed Ali Secretary of the Union.
on 25 OCTOBER 1920 Mahatma Gandhi visited the College and was made the first Honorary Life Member of the Students' Union.
On 24 NOVEMBER 1928 Allama Iqbal conferred with the life membership of the AMU Students' Union.
On 23 DECEMBER 1983 Nobel Laureate Mother Teresa conferred upon the life membership of the AMU Students' Union. [1][2][3][4][5]
