Alister Weld

Script error: No such module "AfC submission catcheck". Alister Weld is the grandson of champion Irish racehorse trainer, Dermot Weld. Born on the 25th of November 2008, he is the son of Mark and Zoe Weld. Weld has been known to have a large interest in the breeding end of the business but in recent years has taken a key role in the family training business. There has been many articles written in both The Irish Field and the Racing Post about him. Alister Weld has a small flock of pedigree sheep.

Weld has had extreme luck attending many world renowned racing festivals such as Royal Ascot where in 2023, the Weld family won the Coronation Stakes with Tahiyra for the owners, HH Aga Khan IV with Chris Hayes (jockey) on board. King Charles III presented the trophy as it was the year of his Coronation.
