Alkimia Interactive is a Spanish video game developer based in Barcelona. The studio works on a Gothic 1 Remake.
History[edit]
In December 2019 without any announcements THQ Nordic Barcelona Studio published Gothic Playable Teaser as a Reimagination of a Gothic series. In the end of the game there was a survey, where people could leave a feedback, whether they liked the Teaser or not and if they want to bring the legendary RPG series back to life.
In February 17, 2020, it was officially announced, that Gothic Remake is going to happen.[1]
The studio get the new name "Alkimia Interactive" and was finally set up in 2021.[2]
