Allahabad-Anand Vihar Humsafar Express
Humsafar Express is an Indian Railways Express train launched on 9th May 2018, which runs between the cities of Allahabad and Anand Vihar Terminal (New Delhi), India. It has 18 3AC air-conditioned coaches. Train No.22437 leaves Allahabad(ALD) at 10:20 PM and reach its destination Anand Vihar Terminal (ANVT) at 06:15 AM next day going via Kanpur (CNB) station during the journey. Train No.22438 leaves Anand Vihar Terminal (ANVT)at 10:20 PM and reach back to Allahabad (ALD) at 06:10 AM next day by taking halts at Kanpur (CNB) stations. This series of trains features side curtains on the corridors like 2AC which were removed from 3-tier AC sleepers. LED screen display to show information about stations, train speed etc. and has announcement system as well. Vending machines for tea, coffee, and milk. Charging ports for charging electronic devices such as mobiles, laptops etc. More comfortable berths than the previous 3-tier AC sleeper rakes. Bio-toilets in compartments. The exterior of coaches has a futuristic look with the use of Vinyl sheets. Safety measures in compartments such as the introduction of smoke alarms and CCTV cameras. Heating chamber as well as a refrigerating box in each coach to preserve the food that was brought from home. Each and every coupe and side berth has curtains to maintain privacy. Khadi bedrolls were provided.
