Alli Royce Soble

Alli Royce Soble (born 1973) is an Atlanta-based photographer, abstract expressionist painter and mixed media artist. Born in Atlanta in 1973, Soble is known for her documentary photography of Atlanta and its LGBT community.[1] A number of her photography albums documenting the community are held by the Stuart A. Rose Manuscript, Archives & Rare Books Library at Emory University.[2] She paints abstract expressionist works in acrylic paint.[3] She has exhibited work in solo and group exhibitions at The Goat Farm Arts Center, The Dairy Farm, Modern Primitive Gallery, Shedspace, Bluemilk Paradigm Artspace, and Vaknin Schwartz Gallery.[4] In addition, her photographs have been published by publications including the New York Times, Atlanta Journal Constitution, and Creative Loafing.[4]

Soble has a BFA in photography from Georgia State University.[5]
