Alliance Academy is one of Dubai's football academies. The academy was formed on 16 March 2015 and currently has more than 130 members from different nationalities aged 4 to 18..[1]
Its training sessions are held at Sunmarke School, Jumeirah Village Triangle. Alliance Academy is one of the main private football academies in UAE which operates under the supervision of UAE Football Association.
Alliance's youth teams compete internally at Dubai Sports Council's championship which runs between October-April.
The academy has a partnership with Valencia CF which means its members can access full training sessions inside Valencia CF's Academy. In 2015, 35 members travelled to Spain for La Liga Coaching.[2]
Youth Football Programs[edit]
Different types of development programs are being offered by Alliance Academy for players of all levels.
Goalkeeping programs are being offered by a specialised goalkeeping team. Goalkeepers spend time with both the goalkeeping & the team coaches.
Coaches Education[edit]
As well as youth football development Alliance Academy also holds Educational Courses & Workshops for coaches.
The Goalkeepers Coaches Workshop is scheduled to be held on 7th & 8th of December 2018. Alliance Academy is holding this course in partnership with GkNexus UK[3]
The workshop is conduced by former Manchester United goalkeeping coach Eric Steele.
Achievements[edit]
Alliance Academy was shortlisted at for 2017's Sports Industries Awards under the category of "Sports Youth Academy or Organization of the Year".[4]
Alliance Academy was also shortlisted at for 2017's UAE Teen Sports & Fitness Awards under the category of "Sports Youth Academy or Organization of the Year".[5]
