International Alliance against State Kidnapping and Hostage-taking (previously known as Families Allied Against State Hostage Taking) is an international NGO aimed at providing care for survivors of hostage-takings, abduction, disappearance and kidnapping.
The movement was started in 2019 by relatives of a number of dual-nationals on the side-line of the United Nations General Assembly in New York [1] as the state-sponsored hostage-taking practice in particularly Asia and the Middle East is becoming an international problem [2].
