Allie Rae (born May 2, 1984), known professionally as Allie Rae[1], is an American adult entertainer, Naval Veteran, former ICU Nurse, businesswoman and CEO. She became famous for going from an ICU nurse to an OnlyFans Star who makes over 200K a month[2].
Biography
Before becoming an OnlyFans star, Allie Rae worked at one of the top hospitals in Massachusetts as a neonatal ICU nurse. Allie Rae is an active Instagram[3] user but did not get into content creation on OnlyFans until her followers suggested that she try the platform out. Allie started her account in September 2020 and within a month and a half had made over $8000.[4] In late 2020, a group of coworkers at the hospital found her account and brought it to the attention of hospital management. Allie was given an ultimatum to either quit posting "lewd" photographs or leave the hospital. Allie chose to walk away from her career as a nurse to begin a new and more lucrative career as an adult entertainer [5]. Today, Allie Rae generates over 369K in monthly revenue from her subscription platform on OnlyFans and has recently become the CEO of her newly formed company WetSpace.[6] Allie currently lives in Tampa, Florida and has resided there since 2021.
Early Life
Allie Rae was born in Houston, Texas on May 2, 1984 where she graduated high school at the age of 16 and enlisted in the Navy at 17. For her first two years of service, Allie was the youngest sailor in the Navy. She was stationed in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina and after her experience there, she decided to leave the Navy.[7] Allie then went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing degree at The University of Texas at Arlington in 2018.
Career
Nursing
In 2018 Allie Rae moved to Boston, MA where she began working as a NICU nurse in one of Boston's top hospitals. During her time as a nurse in Boston, Allie earned her doctorate in Nursing Research from Regis University. Upon earning her doctorate, Allie planned to conduct Neonatal Research in Western Australia. She eventually left her career as a nurse when her hospital coworkers informed human resources about her social media presence on OnlyFans. During her last year as a nurse, her salary was $84,000 per year.[8]
Only Fans
During late 2020 and early 2021, Allie became one of the top .01% content creators in terms of gross revenue on the OnlyFans platform. Allie now makes 369K per month in gross revenue through her subscription platform and has an estimated net worth of 4.5 million. In August 2021, OnlyFans announced it would stop allowing pornographic content on its platform, in which Allie Rae spoke about in a CNN interview, but OnlyFans later reversed the ban due to backlash in the creator community.[8]

In response to the news that OnlyFans would be banning sexually explicit content[10], Allie decided that it was necessary to get away from companies that could invoke morality clauses.[10] Allie decided to create her own platform for performers in September of 2021. The goal of this platform, which later became WetSpace, was to create an online community where people could remain anonymous and pay for subscriptions using decentralized currency. Allie decided that WetSpace would utilize cryptocurrency and blockchain technology to create this ecosystem of adult entertainment. Allie officially launched the WetSpace website in March 2022 where she currently serves as CEO.[11] The open beta for WetSpace was released on April 20, 2022.[12]
