Allison DeVane is an American businesswoman who is the founder and CEO of Teaspressa, an Arizona-based coffee and tea shop.

She was a contestant on Shark Tank during Season 7.[1]

Life and biography[edit]

She was born in Germany but migrated to Goodyear, Arizona as a child. She attended Millennium High School, and started working as a barista. She came up with an alternative to espresso techniques by blending tea instead.[2]

She started the Teaspressa cafe around 2015 selling tea on the streets before renting a building to hold her business.[3] She later entered as a contestant on Shark Tank. She got a "No" from the judges but received notoriety for her appearance. This event sparked business. She began expanding locally and opened up new shops in California and Texas. Teaspressa expanded to Michigan including cities such as Ann Harbor in 2018,[4] with an Arcadia location following after.[5] She opened up in a location in Phoenix at that same time.[6][7]

Teaspressa shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic[8] and returned the following year.[9]
