Almaarefa College for Science and Technology
Almaarefa University is located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The institution which was established in 2009, is one of the private higher educational institutions licensed by the Ministry of Education.
Almaarefa University offers undergraduate programs in Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Respiratory Care, Emergency Medical Services, Anesthesia, Information Systems, Computer Science & Industrial Engineering.
History
The university initially started as "Almaarefa College". It was then renamed as "Almaarefa Colleges for Science & Technology". By the year 2018, the Saudi National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment(NCAAA) granted approval for upgrading the college to a full-fledged university, thus it has been rechristened as "Almaarefa University".

Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery Program
The College of Medicine MBBS degree requires a 7-year study whereby a student is required to complete 222 hours (including one year of Internship).
The primary teaching hospital for the medical college is King Saud Medical City, Riyadh.
Degree Requirements
The Medical degree program are pursued in four broad phases:
Phase one: One-year premedical studies (Preparatory Year).
Phase two: Students spend two-and-half years pursuing integrated basic science courses. During this period, all body systems are studied in integrated modules.
Phase three: Students undergo two-and-half year of clinical phase in different fields of Medicine and Surgery.
Phase Four: Medical undergraduates pursue One-year training of hospital internship. This phase is mandatory for a student to graduate.

Regular Student
To obtain a scholarship in any of the colleges of the University, a regular student should obtain at least a cumulative GPA that is above 3.75 as specified below:
