Almir Badnjevic is a Professor at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences at International Burch University,[1] where he and his team founded the first Bachelor, Master and PhD degree program of Bioengineering in Bosnia and Herzegovina.[2][3] He received his PhD in Electrical Engineering at Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing Zagreb, University of Zagreb, Croatia, in 2015. Badnjevic is a Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy Sarajevo, University of Sarajevo, in the field of Health Informatics, Biomedical Engineering and Expert Systems [4] and a Laboratory Associate at University of Warwick, UK.[5]

His research in biomedical engineering, medical devices and metrology has lead to many contributions in legal metrology framework in Bosnia and Herzegovina and worldwide.[6][7][8]

Badnjevic is the author or co-author of more than 80 scientific publications[9][10]

In 2021, Badnjevic became a member of International Academy of Science and Arts in Bosnia and Herzegovina.[11][12][13]
