Alon Command
The "Alon" Command is the national coronavirus mission force for amputating the contagion chain, led by the Home Front Command, other bodies in the IDF and in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Health, the various security bodies and local authorities in Israel.
The Command works at the national level to assist in truncating the contagion chains while concentrating and connecting all the bodies and efforts into one system. The headquarters operates in accordance with the various needs, with the aim of reducing the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and assisting in maintaining the security and health of Israeli citizens.
The Command is headed by Brigadier General Nissan Davidi, under the command of the Home Front Command commander.

The Alon Command began operations on August 4, 2020, in the Rehavam camp, the Home Front Command base in Ramla. However, the national corona projector, Prof. Roni Gamzo, has admitted that the system for truncating the contagion chains will not be completed until November 2020.
Sturcture[edit]
There are four main centers:
- Laboratory Center - in charge of national laboratory management.
- Sampling and Transportation Center - which increases the sampling capabilities of the Ministry of Health, and transports the samples to laboratories quickly and efficiently.
- "Ella" unit for epidemiological investigations - which increases the Ministry of Health's investigation system. This is done by allocating about 300 reservists and commanders from the IDF. Training is also carried out for representatives from the local authorities.
- Isolation Center - responsible for the management of recovery and isolation hotels. The center is headed by Col. Reli Margalit.
In addition, the Command includes centers, complexes and various staffs, including: an evaluation complex, an information system and a central table within which representatives of the centers, complexes and staffs, emergency organizations and the Ministry of Health.
