Alonaki
Alonaki is a beach in Preveza, Greece. It is a natural cove near the community of Valanidorachi and is located in the middle of the distance between Preveza and Igoumenitsa.
The main characteristic of the beach, apart from the surrounding forest, is the adjacent rock. It was used as a landing point for Allied forces at the end of World War II. Today, one can still see the layers of concrete on the beach that testify to its crucial geopolitical position in the Ionian Sea. It is a protected area where all human intervention is prohibited, including camping. It is also known for the exceptional clarity of the water and the density of vegetation, mainly consisting of trees and shrubs.
