Alteronce Gumby is an international artist. His artistry includes ceramics, painting, performance, installation, and film. Alteronce's work has been exhibited at galleries such as: Nicola Vassell Gallery, Hauser & Wirth, Gladstone Gallery, and Camden Arts Centre.
Gumby's art exemplifies color, abstraction, light, and space, where he explores the various wonders and facets of life and its vibrancy.[1]
Alteronce graduated from Yale School of Art with an MFA in Painting and Printmaking in 2016.
His notable art awards include The AAF/ Seebacher Prize for Fine Arts, August 2015, New American Paintings #123 MFA Annual 2016, Harriet Hale Woolley Scholarship, October 2016, and the Robert Reed Memorial Scholarship 2015.[2]
