Aluu is a neighborhood in the local government area of Ikwerre. The neighborhood of Aluu, which is made up of nine other smaller communities, is located in Ikwerre Land,[1] Nigeria. Aluu is one of the seven subgroups of ikwerre land according to the "ikwerre Essa" categorization. The lush Aluu LGA is perfect for primary production, including farming, fishing, and sand dredging. At its distant base is the well-known University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT). This region is renowned as the "historic Aluu four lynching"[2] since four university students were killed there on the 5th of October 2012. It also has a customary court located in one of its smaller settlements.
Education
The University Demonstration Secondary School (UDSS) in Aluu is within a few meters from the University of Port Harcourt. [citation needed]
