Alysha Vine (born 17 November 1998)[1]Actress & Singer Known for her role in Chalk[2] & member of Misdemeana4 MD4 Girl Group, Solo Artist as Alysha Vine[3]

Biography[edit]

Born Elysha Ali Vine, She is an English Actress[4] and Singer, She has three solo released Singles, and is known for her single "You Got Me" which was her debut in April 2019 shortly followed by her second release " Forever" in May 2019.

April 2020 she recorded a self-made music video for her next release called "tonight" this was created while in isolation Lockdown. The Track previously studio recorded in 2019.

A song "Doesn't matter to me" features on YouTube and was broadcast on BBC Radio[5], this song wasn't a release, it was performed as a dedication to a family member who had just been Murdered, this tragedy happened in January 2020 and the song was played at the funeral. [6]

Early Life[edit]

Vine was born in Plymouth Devon and attended primary schools in Liskeard, Cornwall before moving to Wales for a couple of years where she attended St Thomas School & Cefn Hengoed Community College, Vine returned to live in Cornwall and attended Liskeard School & Community College. Neither of her parents are musical - her father, Jason Vine from Tadley worked as a Pharmaceutical Porter and her mother Shereen Alli who is originally from Swansea was a Holistic Therapist & Hair Dresser.

She had Ballet lessons and performed martial arts.

Vine uploaded her first cover to YouTube when she was 13. The site's positive feedback inspired her to continue Singing

As a child, early influences include her Mother, her paternal Grandmother and Beyonce.

Career[edit]

2017 Vine became one of 4 Girls to audition[7] for a new UK Girl Group, a project set up by Rod Harrod[8]  Author & CEO PROmpt (Professional Music, Performance & Technology)[9]. Martin Fryer & Luann Chapman of DMRecords. This was initially set up to become a platform for Producers Songwriters Fryer & Chapman to showcase some of their music and build a career for the Finalists. The Talented Girls from Cornwall trained hard with a Choreographer and were produced at DMRecords, Later to become a completely run group of DMRecords after Rod Harrod left the project. That Girl Group became Misdemeana4 / MD4. known for their song Knowing Me & Heat played on BBC Radio Their First-ever Performance as an unknown Rock Pop band attracted over 200 people to watch their show at the St Ives Theatre in Cornwall. This was an incredible Breakthrough that gained their popularity. One of their stage performances in 2018 was a Charity Fundraiser to help raise money for Looe Saves The Day, A Music Festival that took the place of the original organised Looe Festival after its Charity organisers went into administration and at last minute was cancelled, in succession to the latter they performed the following week on the BBC Introducing[5] Stage for Looe Saves The Day music festival. Looe saved the Day and the Organisers won a Tourism award[10] for pulling it together.

January 2019 Saw the end of Misdemeana4 after irreconcilable differences it was decided that they could no longer work together. Vine became a solo act staying with DMRecords and performing Fryer & Chapman Songs. This led to a newspaper article[11] about the split from MD4 and a new start for Vine. By the end of 2019 Vine became an exclusive at a Venue in Looe Cornwall. December 2019 performed at legendary The Bitter End in Greenwich Village[12], New York[13]
