Amar Meriech (in Arabic: عمار مرياش) is an independent Algerian poet and journalist, born on 8 October 1964 in Blida, Algeria. He is the recipient of several literary awards, including the Maghreb Moufdi Zakaria Prize awarded by the Al-Jahidhiya Cultural Association in 1993.
