Amarpal Kaur Dhillon (born 22 January 1997), also known as Amarpal Kaur, is an Indian-born Canadian cricketer who represents the Canada women's national cricket team in international cricket.[1] An all-rounder who bats right-handed and bowls right-arm offbreak, she became one of Canada’s most consistent WT20I performers between 2023 and 2025.
Early life
Kaur was born in Bhagta Bhai Ka and raised in the village of Sirywala in Bathinda district, Punjab, India. She developed an early interest in cricket and participated in local cricket activities during her childhood.
Migration to Canada
Kaur moved to Canada as a young adult and continued her cricketing journey through community and domestic leagues. Her performances in Canadian cricket structures eventually led to her selection for the national women’s team.
International career
Kaur made her WT20I debut on **4 September 2023**, representing Canada against Brazil in Los Angeles.[2]
Between 2023 and 2025, she participated in Americas regional qualifiers and other ICC-sanctioned events. Her bowling and middle-order batting drew media coverage across North American publications covering women’s cricket.[3][4][5]
Kaur is listed among Canadian WT20I players.[6]
Domestic and franchise cricket
In 2025, Kaur joined the **Toronto Sixers** in the **Canada Super 60** competition.[7]

Personal life
Kaur was born into a Punjabi family in Bhagta Bhai Ka and raised in Sirywala village, Bathinda district. She later immigrated to Canada, balancing work and domestic cricket before earning international selection.
