Amber Boardman
Amber Boardman (born 1981) is an artist working primarily in painting and animation[1]. Born in Portland, ME, she received her Bachelor's in Fine Art from Georgia State University[1], her Master's in Fine Art from School of Visual Arts[1], and her PhD from University of New South Wales[1] . Her work explores a "long-standing fascination with women's beauty rituals and the industry around them."[2] She was notably a finalist for both the Archibald Prize[3] and the Geelong Art Prize[4] in 2018. Her work is represented by Sandler Hudson Gallery in Atlanta, GA, and has been shown internationally.
