Ambo Software is a Romanian engineering software company specializing in custom software outsourcing. The company is headquartered in the city of Cluj-Napoca with an operative office in the city of Satu Mare. The company provides full-stack custom software development teams, project-based services or staff augmentation to Western companies of all types and sizes. Ambo Software was established in 1999 by the brothers Adam and Botond Boer, two businessmen of German descent residing in Romania.
Aside from being engaged in custom development builds and software outsourcing services, starting from 2003 the company also develops and brings to market two software solutions for the management of restaurants and hotels, offering complete software and hardware solutions for the hospitality industry. The company is a member of the Romanian Association for Electronic Industry and Software (ARIES), the largest organization created for the IT&C industry in Romania.
