Asula Ambrose Feese (born 7 December 1944), known as Ambrose Feese, is a chartered accountant, public servant, and banker. He served as the minister of works and housing in the Nigerian government from 1998 to 1999.[1]
Early life
Ambrose was born on December 7, 1944, in Tsar Mbaduku, Vandeikya local government area of Benue State.
Personal life
In 1977, Feese married Nguyan Shaku, with whom he has four children. One of their daughters survived the terrorist attack on the United Nations building in Abuja on August 26, 2011.[2]
Career
Feese joined the International Committee on Nigeria Limited in Lagos in 1989, serving as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer until 1995. In 1996, he moved to Abuja to become the Executive Chairman at NSF Developments Limited. Two years later, he was appointed as a minister by the Nigerian government.
After leaving the government, Feese established himself as the Managing Consultant at Dynamic Consulting Limited and held the position of Non-Executive Director at First Bank of Nigeria, NAL Bank Plc, and Universal Trust Bank Plc.[3][4]
Membership and associations
Feese has been a Fellow at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria since 1975 and a Fellow with the Chartered and Certified Accountants organization in the United Kingdom since 1991. He has also been a member of the Institute of Directors since 1991 and served on various boards and committees, including the Public Accounts Committee in Benue State and the Presidential Commission on Revenue Allocation.[5]
