Midwest Norwegian is the name of the Norwegian dialelcts that are spoken by the Norwegian speaking population in the Midwest in the USA. The dialect can be split into among others chicagomål and illinoismål. America Norwegian is categories as an East Norwegian dialect, but has also gotten some loanwords from American English.
