The American Center Tashkent (ACT) is a U.S. public diplomacy initiative located at the Embassy of the United States, Tashkent, Uzbekistan. It is part of the American Spaces network operated under the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.[1]
Purpose and Offerings
The center provides free access to educational resources and hosts a variety of programs aimed at fostering:
