American Interactive Media (AIM) was a joint venture between Philips and its subsidiary PolyGram formed in Los Angeles in 1986, before its public debut, to publish Philips CD-i based consumer software.[1][2][3] Similarly in Europe, Philips Interactive Media was launched.
