The American Marketing Association Los Angeles (AMA Los Angeles) is a non-profit 501 c(3) professional association whose mission is to advance the practice and study of marketing. They are a professional chapter of the parent organization, American Marketing Association, which is headquartered in Chicago. The organization primarily produces networking events and educational workshops for professionals in Los Angeles.

History[edit]

AMA Los Angeles was founded in 1977 under the parent organization.

In February 2019, the organization launched the Cannabis Marketing Expo [1], a large-scale conference for the growing cannabis industry at the Skirball Cultural Center. Notable speakers included Cheyne Nadeau, Head of Experiential at Canndescent, CannaKids CEO Tracy Ryan[2] and Jim Baudino, President of Merry Jane[3], which was founded by American rapper, singer and producer Snoop Dogg
