American West Indies is a geographic region of the United States located in the Atlantic Ocean that includes Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Navassa (although this island is disputed by Haiti). Most of the island were created with mountain folds or volcanic eruptions. Most of the islands are uninhabited, and have lage deposits of fruit, limestone, natural water, and caves.

The average temperature of the American West Indies is 80 degrees, with an average of 30 to 80 inches of rainfall annually. Hurricanes mainly hit from August to October.

Many of the inhabited islands are made up of sugarcane farms, pineapple farms, banana farms, mountains, and rain forests. Fauna includes parrots, hummingbirds, ibis, flamingos, turtles, shellfish, caiman, dolphins, red snapper, bonito, and flying fish.
