Amit Faibish

Amit Faibish is a water polo player based in San Diego, California. She began playing water polo at the age of 10 and has remained dedicated to the sport since then. Faibish has competed for several clubs in Southern California and has participated in multiple high-level tournaments, including the Junior Olympics.

In recent years, she has represented Israel as a member of the Israeli national water polo team. Faibish has committed to play collegiate water polo at San Diego State University, with plans to begin competing for the program in 2026.

“Amit has a unique water polo experience,” Ochsner said. “She is a high school and club player in the US but has garnered lots of experience on the international stage. She has competed in many high-level international competitions with the Israeli youth national team, and that has prepared her for the rigors of playing in college. I am looking forward to seeing her continue to grow and contribute at both the Division I level and internationally.”
