Amitriyaan is an Indian actor[1]. He acted in lead roles in Atkan Chatkan, Satya 2, Tandoor, Rajwade and Sons , Naanthanda , 332 Mumbai To India , Aasud , Peshawar
Early life[edit]
After completing his graduation in engineering in Polymer technology, he opted for a post graduation diploma in Advertising & Marketing instead of going for an engineering job . Later he worked as a copywriter at an ad agency and simultaneously started doing theatre for the next few years. Apart from acting, he plays the guitar well and also composes poems and songs. As an actor, he considers Johnny Depp, Soumitra Chatterjee and Irrfan Khan as his inspirations. His first lead role was in K Sera Sera and Sangeeth Sivan's film 332 Mumbai To India.[2]
Career[edit]
After doing Sangeeth Sivan's Hindi film ' 332 Mumbai to India '[2] Amitriyaan acted in Ram gopal Varma's film Satya 2 as a parallel lead .[3] He also did telegu version of same film called Naanthanda.[4] Later working in title role for Marathi film ' Manya - The wonder boy '[5] earned him best actor's award at dadasaheb phalke Marathi film festival.[6] Amitriyaan played central role in Marathi cult classic Rajwade and Sons movie [7]. Amitriyaan played central role of alcoholic street musician in Hindi film Atkan Chatkan produced by AR Rahman.[8] He acted in lead role in marathi film Aasud before getting into OTT platform.[9] He played antagonist in webseries Peshawar and lead role in webseries Tandoor[10] directed by Nivedita Basu.[11]
