- Amoron should not be confused with Amaron, Ammaron, Ammoron or Moron (Book of Mormon) four other Book of Mormon figures with similar names.
According to the Book of Mormon, Amoron (/əˈmɔːrɒn/)[1] was a Nephite from the fifth century AD, and was a contemporary and subordinate of the prophet and army commander Mormon. During the final war between the Lamanites and Nephites, Amoron reported to Mormon.
