History
Amplemarket was incorporated in late 2019 by João and Luís Batalha together with Micael Oliveira, who had previously co-created the academic-annotation project Fermat’s Library.[1] In April 2022 the company raised US$12 million in seed and Series A funding co-led by Comcast Ventures and Armilar Venture Partners.[1][2] *Dinheiro Vivo* reported that the investment would be used to expand engineering and sales staff and to develop additional automation features for the platform.[2]

According to *TechCrunch*, the Amplemarket platform combines a prospect database with tools for email, phone and social-media outreach, and applies natural-language processing to suggest next-step actions for sales teams.[1] The publication noted early adoption by companies such as Deel and Vanta but did not disclose revenue figures.
