Amplify Trading
HISTORY[edit]
William de Lucy and Piers Curran, who previously worked as intra-day futures traders at Goldenberg Hehmeyer LLP, founded the company in 2009. Amplify Trading moved its trading floor from Canary Wharf to the City of London in October 2013, and opened a second training facility in February 2015 in order to accommodate further expansion of the firms operations. In December 2015, Amplify Trading purchased Finatratech Ltd. which included the software ReTrader and FlowTrader.
AWARDS AND ACCREDITATION[edit]
Amplify Trading is a member of the British Accreditation Council (BAC). In April 2015, Amplify Trading was awarded the prize for innovation in financial education by the CFA institute in Atlanta, USA. In November 2015, Amplify Trading was awarded winner of higher/professional educational provider at the EducationInvestor Awards 2015 in London, UK. In December 2015, Amplify Trading was shortlisted at the Reimagine Education Awards hosted in Philadelphia, USA.
APPEARANCES[edit]
Amplify Trading featured in a BBC2 documentary aired on the 8th September 2014, entitled “Traders: Millions by the Minute”. Head of Trading, Piers Curran, is a regular guest host of CNBC’s European Closing Bell.
OPERATIONS[edit]
Amplify Trading provides training to financial professionals at Bank of America, Barclays, Citigroup and HSBC. Amplify Trading also provides undergraduate and postgraduate training to Imperial College London, University of Leeds, Newcastle University, University of Stirling, UCL, Queen Mary University,
