Amy Elizabeth Cimorelli (born July 1, 1995) is a member of the band Cimorelli. She is the fourth oldest sister and the fifth oldest child in the Cimorelli family. Amy is one of the original members in the band, Cimorelli, which started in 2007.

Early life[edit]

Amy was the fifth child born to parents Michael and Lynne Cimorelli. She has five sisters and five brothers. She is the shortest member of the band, standing at 4'10, due to a mild case of a rare genetic disorder called Turner's Syndrome.[1] The doctor's discovered her condition when she was five years old. She describes her disease as being something that has "really made her strong".[2] Amy and her siblings are raised in a very musical family, at the young ages of two and four were already getting musical introductions.[3] Amy, along with the rest of her siblings were home schooled by their mother.[4] Amy and her siblings also participated in a variety of musical productions, acting, voice, and instrument lessons before the band launched in 2007.[5]

Career[edit]

Amy was part of the first YouTube video Cimorelli posted, a cover of Miley Cyrus's Party in the USA.[6] The band has also posted many other covers. She sings in the alto vocal range. Amy also plays rhythm guitar in many of the band's a capella YouTube videos as well as in concerts. The band is currently working on their debut album.

Personal[edit]

Amy was raised in the [Christian Church] along with the rest of her family.[7] Amy, along with the rest of her siblings were home schooled by their mother.[8]
