Amy Weirich
Former Shelby County[1] District Attorney, Amy Weirich, is the Special Counsel for Tipton County[2] Tennessee.[3]
In her prior occupation, Weirich was noted by Harvard Law University[4], as being ranked highest in her district[5], and as they argued, perhaps the highest ranking official in the country, for misconduct.[6]
As then acting District Attorney, Weirich was noted for prosecuting juveniles, leading local news outlets to mark her accomplishments[7], with such bona fides[8] as "Amy Weirich Prosecutes More Kids As Adults Than The Rest of Tennessee Combined. Nearly All Of Them Are Black." [9]
Weirich continues to practice law.[10]
