An Ordinary Case (Le Fil; lit. The Thread) is an upcoming French legal drama film directed by and starring Daniel Auteuil as a lawyer hired to defend a client accused of his wife's murder. [1] [2] It will premiere at Cannes in May 2024 in a special screening for the 2024 Cannes Film Festival.[3]
Plot
Jean Monier, a troubled lawyer who agrees to represent a client named Nicolas Milik who is accused of the murder of his wife, while proving his client's innocence, Monier finds himself drawn deeper into the case.
