She published her first work in 1950 with the story Stejarul. In 1955, her prose collection Drumul spre sat was published, which included stories about the Bessarabian village and two years later, in 1957, the collection Lasarea vantului sa ma bata was published, inspired by the life of village teachers. The writer also worked in the drama genre: in 1966, she published the volume Roata vremii, Las' că-i bine...'. In 1970, the collection of stories Toaca iernii was published.[1]
Meanwhile, the author also wrote epic works of large dimensions: the novels Țarină fără plugari and Regăsirea (1963, 1974), Neagră-i floarea de cireș (1977) and Vâltoarea (1988), which, according to the literary critic Mihai Cimpoi, present a devastating human document.
