Anadiranjan Biswas

Anadiranjan Biswas is an accomplished Bengali culturalist.[1] In addition to literature, he was a governing body member of the East Political Culture Center (Mantral of Culture, India) in Kolkata from 2006 to 2009. He is currently associated with a fortnightly magazine of publishers and bookmen. He is also a member of the Andaman Karate Association (Kyokushin Kai-kan)[2] His published poetry books and poems are Maitridiner Jharapata, Pratikshaya Bishenna Bikkel Kavitaye Challish Parhari, Abhinaya Chandragupta (Bengali translation of Jaishankar Prasad's Hindi book). His only collection of stories is called Purba Express. From 1999, he started a monthly literary magazine named Bakpratima, [3] which is still running.
