Ananta Das
Ananta Das is a politician from Odisha, India. Born on 28 August 1940, Das has been actively involved in the political landscape of Odisha. He is a member of the Biju Janata Dal, a prominent political party in the state.
Political Career[edit]
Ananta Das has served multiple terms in the Odisha Legislative Assembly. He was a Member of the Thirteenth Odisha Legislative Assembly from 15 May 2004 to 19 May 2009, representing the Bhograi Vidhan Sabha constituency under the Biju Janata Dal. He was re-elected in the 2009 Odisha Legislative Assembly election and served as a Member of the Fourteenth Odisha Legislative Assembly from 19 May 2009 to 18 May 2014.
Das continued his political career by winning the 2014 Odisha Legislative Assembly election, serving as a Member of the Fifteenth Odisha Legislative Assembly from 18 May 2014. He was again elected in the 2019 Odisha Legislative Assembly election, serving in the Sixteenth Odisha Legislative Assembly.
Throughout his tenure, Ananta Das has been an integral part of the Biju Janata Dal, contributing to the party's efforts and representing the interests of his constituency.
