Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas was launched in 2001 with their first property in Hua Hin, Thailand[2]. Anantara launched its first property in Koh Samui, Thailand, in November 2004[3].
Qasr Al Sarab Desert by Anantara was launched in 2009, and in 2011, Anantara opened Anantara Kihavah Maldives, which was the first wholly owned Anantara hotel outside Thailand[4]. Anantara Sanya Resort, Anantara’s first resort in China, was launched in 2012[5]
