‘’’Anchor Green Primary School (AGPS)’’’ (Chinese: 安泰小学t=; pinyin: ān tài xiǎo xué) is mixed school, meaning it has both boys and girls, founded by the Ministry of Education (MOE). It offers a 6 year programme, from Primary 1 to Primary 6, ending with the Primary School Leaving Examination, which is compulsory for all Primary 6 students to take to move on to secondary school. It is located in Anchorvale, a district in the region of Sengkang, and the LRT station of Tongkang is the closest station to it.
History
Founding
Anchor Green Primary School was first founded in December 2008 by Ministry of Education (Singapore) (MOE). The school was founded to nurture and teach the growing population of the then new town of Sengkang.[2] [3]
Celebrations
AG15
On 7th July 2023, Anchor Green Primary School celebrated its 15th anniversary. Anchor Green Primary School invited their alumni and past teachers to celebrate and attend the ceremony at the end of the day. The day was first filled with activities for the current students and ended in a big ceremony at the end of the day, where they sang the song “This is Me”

In 2024, the school choir got the band of Accomplished in the Singapore Youth Festival Choir Presentation Primary Level.

In 2024, the school guzheng team got the award of Distinction in the Singapore Youth Festival.
Modern Dance
In 2024, the Modern Dance team got the award of Accomplishment in the Singapore Youth Festival 2024 Arts Presentation For Modern Dance (Primary Level) competition.

In 2024, the cub scouts CCA got the Frank Cooper Sands Award
Floorball (Boys)
In 2024, the boys floorball team lost the NSG finals to Damai Primary School, but they still earned the runner-up in the 2024 NSG Senior Boys Division[6]

The girls floorball team achieved the following achievements:
