Anders Hallengren [1] [2] [3] [4], born in 1950 in Stockholm[5][6], is a Swedish writer and researcher, and the author of books on historical, international, and philosophical issues. He is a member of the International Federation of Journalists[7], and the Authors Guild of America[8][9], has 188 research works listed in the university database DiVA[10], 89 books registered at Worldcat[11] published in English, Swedish, Russian, Serbian, French, German and Italian. He received his PhD for a dissertation on Ralph Waldo Emerson's philosophy of nature (The Code of Concord.[12]: Emerson's Search for Universal Laws, published in 1994). He is the editor of the widely read WSPC publication Nobel Laureates in Search of Identity and Integrity: Voices of Different Cultures[13], which first appeared in print in 2004. He has been a Visiting Fellow in the Department of History, Harvard University[14][15], a visiting professor at the University of Hawaii[16][17]. He is a Fellow of the Linnean Society of London and Linnean Society of New South Wales, Australia[18], a life member of the Anglo-Swedish Society in London[19], a volunteer member of the United Nations Association[20]. For many years he served as a founding member, contact, and adviser of the American-Russian Transnational Institute[21] in Norwich, Vermont, and Moscow, along with participating in educational projects in the People's Republic of China[22].
