Andh Bhakt
Andh Bhakt (Blind Devotee, Hindi: अंध भक्त) is a pejorative[1] term used in India towards a person who blindly supports the policies of the Modi Government.[2][3][4]
Background[edit]
Bhakt, derived from the Sanskrit language, refers to a devotee. For instance, Shabri was a devoted follower of Ram, while Kalidas was a devotee of Kali. On the other hand, Andh Bhakt is a term formed by combining "Andh" meaning blind, and "Bhakt" meaning devotee or follower.
