Andover Lake is a man-made lake in Andover, Connecticut in the United States. Built in 1927,[1] it is in the southeast part of the town, and takes up 127 acres (51 hectares). It is privately owned and there is a concrete dam on the northern end of the lake.[2]

Flora and fauna[edit]

Prominent vegetation in the lake include Western Waterweed, which sparsely inhabits the shoreline for much of the lack, as well as Bur-reed, eelgrass, bloating bladderwort, and humped bladderwort.[3]

Snapping turtles, Canadian geese and ducks are commonly found in the region.[4]
