Andrea Seminara is the founder, CIO and CEO of Redhedge Asset Management LLP[1], an FCA-regulated investment manager with offices in London and Milan.[2] Over the past decade, Seminara has been focused on Relative Credit Value strategies, first as a Portfolio Manager at Marzotto SIM, and later, as a Proprietary Trader at Banca Profilo.[3]
His asset management firm, Redhedge Asset Management LLP, is specialised in relative value credit and manages a range of funds, including open-ended ICAVs and closed-ended SICAVs.[4] In February 2021, Seminara also launched a Relative Value UCITS fund, which he manages along with Redhedge Senior Portfolio Manager, Voon Kiat Lai.[5]
Of the fund strategy, Seminara said, “Through our relative value investing strategy, we look to achieve steady returns, with low volatility, that are uncorrelated to wider market movements. We take advantage of fair value dislocations in the bond market to form pair trades that are hedges of each other."[6]
Seminara has appeared on Skytg24 and CNBC in Italy to discuss the financial markets and frequently comments on credit markets.[7][8]
Interests
One of Seminara's interests lies in rowing. He has recently supported a world-class crew at Henley Royal Regatta, in order to enable athletes who have left the professional and elite circuits to race again at the highest levels of the competition without the financial burden that comes with preparing for the competition.[9]
